After resetting your NEIT password, you will need to forget the NEIT-Secure network, re-connect to the NEIT-Secure network, and then enter your credentials once again to have your new password saved to your system. Here are some step-by-step instructions:
iPhone and iPad:
- Go to Settings, then select Wi-Fi
- Select NEIT-Secure and Click on the
button
- Click on FORGET THIS NETWORK
- Re-select NEIT-Secure
- Re-enter your NEIT credentials (NEIT email and New password) Click NEXT
- On Certificate screen Click on Trust
- After clicking trust, NEIT-Secure should be connected. Next, click on the word NEIT-Secure. This should open the Privacy Warning page. Scroll down until you see Private Address.
- Turn off Private Address and click Re-Join.
- You are all set!
- Go to System Preferences (Apple Menu > System Preference) and Select the Network icon
- Select Wi-Fi on the left and Click on the Advance button.
- Select NEIT-Secure Network and then Click the – key to delete the NEIT-Secure as a Preferred Network and then Click OK
- Reconnect to NEIT-Secure by going to the Network Name dropdown and select it in the dropdown list
- Re-enter your NEIT email and new password
- Click Continue to verify the Certificate
- Click Apply button on the bottom right corner
- You are all set!
- Go to Settings
- Select WiFi & Network
- Select NEIT-Secure
- Click on Gear icon
- Click Forget icon
- Go back and Reconnect to NEIT-Secure
- In the Domain field enter neit.edu
- In the Identity field enter your FULL student/faculty/staff email ex: ([email protected]/[email protected])
- Leave Anonymous Identity field blank
- In the Password field enter your new password
- Scroll down to the Advance options
- On the Privacy option select Use Device MAC
- Click Connect
