On Wednesday, September 25th at the Twin River Casino in Lincoln, RI, Compass IT Compliance, hosted the 3rd Annual Compass Cybersecurity Symposium. One of the featured speakers was Jesse Roberts, who teaches cybersecurity at New England Tech. Jesse demonstrated hacks of Internet of Things devices that are currently found in most every home, such as a robotic vacuum.
The purpose of the Compass Cybersecurity Symposium is to bring together IT security and compliance professionals to hear presentations from industry thought leaders on the latest threats and trends, network with peers in the cybersecurity realm, and receive actionable tips and tactics that they can implement in their organization to mitigate their risk of a data breach or attack.
