New England Tech Adjunct Col. Mike Tetreault recently lead a two Cybersecurity Seminar for municipal departments heads from several local cities and nearby organizations. In his role a Rhode Island National Guard Chief Information Officer, Col. Tetreault, along with East Providence IT Director Kelly Ahrens, discussed recent cyberattacks on local cities and towns and trained officials on best practices that can help reduce the chance of a successful attack.
